Vickie Brown Obituary Vickie Jean Brown (57) passed away peacefully with her family by her side December 6th, 2025, in Rapid City, South Dakota. Vickie was born on January 8, 1968, in Tyler, Texas, to Vernon and Dorothy Jean (Rogers) Brown. She spent her early years in Tyler before making her home in several Texas communities including Flint and Whitehouse. In 2017, after the passing of her mother, Vickie moved to Rapid City to be closer to her brother Lonney and his family. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Lonney and sister-in-law Stacey; & brother Luther (Pee Wee); nephews Justin (Sarah) and Levi; nieces Jessica (Luke) and Amanda (Jason); great-nephews Logan, Zander, Jonas, Peyton, Noah, and Oliver; great-nieces Landy and Natalie; and great-great-nephew Angel, and her loyal companion, Charlie Brown. She was preceded in death by her father Vernon Brown, mother Dorothy Jean (Rodgers) Brown; niece Rebecca Jean Brown; and great-nephew Bentley Storm Brown Solt. Vickie will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched. May her memory bring peace and comfort to all who knew her. Upon her request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
